Drama Opportunities

For the past sixteen years, Eastwood has performed a Broadway-style musical. We perform musicals that contain timeless truths. Students are encouraged to see that performing arts can help to convey these truths to Christians and non-Christians alike if they perform not for their own glory but for the glory of their Creator. These musicals incorporate over half of the upper school students and many of the lower school students as well. The difficulty and scale of each musical challenge students to perform at a high level of acting, singing, and dancing. Our team of volunteers works tirelessly to help create a grand spectacle that never fails to impress.

This Year's Spring Musical

Coming March 5th and 6th, 2020 (This year’s musical)

Shakespeare in the Park

Each year the upper school students compete in an intramural drama competition called “Shakespeare in the Park.” Students must create a 20-minute version of one of Shakespeare’s plays and present it on a Saturday afternoon to our school audience. The winning team each year lays claim to the coveted “Gilded Bard” trophy.
