Upper School Service Project Day

Eastwood students, faculty and parents spent their day serving both First Choice Montgomery and Flatline Church in Chisolm.

At First Choice, a group put together new chairs, freshened up the landscaping with new pine straw, deep cleaned some spaces in the center, bundled diapers for the baby store, and put together booties to give to ultrasound clients.

At Flatline, they spent the morning doing some major clean up, renovation, and organizing. They were able to outfit a new conference room, freshen up the community ministry center and the recording studio, as well as organize their Christmas store. 

Afterwards, the groups from First Choice and Flatline came back together for a cookout and impromptu concert from some of the Flatline artists as well as an original rap from our very own, Yates Gunnells. 

It was a great day of service and fellowship.
