Danellen DeHuff

Danellen DeHuff earned her Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Mississippi State University in 2002.  She teaches Geometry, Art Appreciation, and Music Appreciation in Eastwood's upper school, and teaches Art Enrichment to 1st-5th graders weekly in our Grammar School art class. Mrs. DeHuff also teaches extracurricular art lessons after school.  She stayed home with her kids when they were preschoolers and then joined the ECS faculty in 2017.  Mrs. DeHuff's love for Classical Christian Education grows out of fascination for the Biblical worldview, believing that real Truth, Beauty, and Goodness come from Christ Himself, and every subject can and should point us to Jesus.  She is married to Brian and they are thankful that their 4 children (Johnson, ‘24; Knox, ‘26; Rivers, ‘28; and Delta, ‘30) are benefitting from the educational foundation at ECS.  Mrs. DeHuff is very involved with the Eastwood Players through set design and construction.  She loves to draw, paint, and travel to see beauty in God's creation, and loves to sing hymns.  Mrs. DeHuff also enjoys playing games in the DeHuff household and watching the DeHuff kids play sports.
