Kathy Miller
Kathy Miller will be teaching third-grade math. This is her twenty-ninth year teaching and first-year teaching at Eastwood Christian School. Kathy was born in Fort Benning, Georgia, and since her father was in the military, she traveled to many places within the United States and abroad. She currently lives in Prattville, Alabama.She has two sons who are devoted to their families. Her five grandchildren (3 girls; 2 boys) range in age from 12 years old to 3 and they are a joy!
Kathy received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University Montgomery where she graduated with high honors. She returned to school and received her master’s degree in Elementary Education from Troy State University Montgomery Summa cum Laude. Her successes she owes to her Lord Jesus.
Some random facts about Kathy are: She loves to visit museums and learn about history, her favorite song is “In Christ Alone”, she calls her quiet time with the Lord each morning as being in His pasture since He is Shepherd and she is His sheep, and His Word keeps all in perspective for her.
Kathy’s best teachers have been and continue to be children.
