Misty Vermillion
Mrs. Vermillion received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University. She married her high school sweetheart, John Mark Vermillion, and they moved to Houston where she worked as a CPA in the accounting & finance field for 3 years. Mrs. Vermillion chose to stay home for the following 23 years with her children. The last 12 of those years she has been homeschooling her children using the Classical Method. She has taught science in the Keeping it Classical Co-op in Montgomery as well as a Grammar & Literature elective for grades 3-6 in the co-op. The Vermillions have 5 children ages ranging from 11-23, and they have had multiple foster kids in their home over the last 5 years. Coming from a deep heritage of teachers, Mrs. Vermillion is excited to teach in a Classical Christian School where she can share the Good News with children along with their traditional education. In her free time, Mrs. Vermillion enjoys cooking, party planning, and spending time with her family.
