Amanda Wilson
Mrs. Amanda Wilson is a graduate of Auburn University Montgomery with a BSBA degree in Accounting, an MBA, and an alternative masters in Elementary Education. This is her first year teaching at Eastwood Christian School. In the past, she was a CPA in the private & public sector, taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten in the Autauga County school system, a substitute teacher in the Eastwood Christian Upper and Lower schools, and is currently teaching 4th grade at Eastwood. Before coming to Eastwood, she was a stay at home mom for five years, which allowed her to volunteer at her childrens’ schools, serve in the Life on Wheels Ministry, and Meals on Wheels of Autauga County. She loves Classical Christian Education because each subject points to our need to grow our knowledge of who God is and why He created us. She and her husband have two children at Eastwood in the ninth and fifth grade. Mrs. Wilson & her family have served alongside their church family of East Memorial Baptist Church for almost 20 years. She enjoys reading, hiking, decorating, and spending time with her family.
